🫶THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all of the well wishes, kind words, and supportive sentiments upon my announcement of closing the studio.

✨The decision was not made lightly and there have been so many big feelings and emotions around it. Your love and support makes it feel less overwhelming.

🙏There is so much involved with opening and closing a brick and mortar business and I’m doing my best to honor all of your feelings about it too with all of the love and integrity you’ve shown me.

❤️For those of you who have inquired about taking over the space and sent referrals, thank you and keep them coming! I’ll continue to seek out our person until I know it’s been secured. It’s a beautiful space and I can’t wait for someone else to enjoy it the way we have over the years.

We had the best time going back to where it all started @swiha_college last night for Gifts & Graces! I can’t believe it was 3 years ago that we were working on our YTT and this week is 2 years that @the_zen_den_az has been open! We will be back for the Fall Festival on Nov 1! It was so amazing to see some of our friends ❤️ @thetalitaguerrero @highpranawagon thank you @1lovewarrior for spending the evening with me and of course to my cute family @pruittspoolcleaning for your support throughout this journey ❤️ we will be announcing the details for our Zeniversary and 3rd annual Halloween celebration SOON!!

❤️As Nancy walked in and realized we were celebrating she hugged me with tears in her eyes and said “I can’t tell you how much this place means to me”.

✨We met in early 2023 when I first started teaching at HD South - the Gilbert historical museum.

Shortly after we opened @the_zen_den_az they became members and have joined us on the mat twice a week since.

When we started working together, Alan was headed for back surgery and Nancy was dealing with a lot of stress.

Since then, Alan’s back pain has improved greatly and he no longer requires surgery. He also practices yoga on his own at home.

Nancy’s stress has reduced significantly since she has the tools she needed to help her throughout her day. She’s also met and worked with other modalities practitioners to help her along her wellness journey.

They LOVE our teachers and and tell me all the time how much they love working with them @findyourway432 @yogalifehealth @darien_pruitt_official

I’m so grateful they’ve chosen themselves, each other and over 100 times!

It’s a time where I get to guide others into slowing down, staying in the moment, and allowing themselves the opportunity to notice what feels right for them. And I get the opportunity too.

Today I spoke about how staying in the present moment allows us to stay out of the suffering of the past, and the anxiety of trying to predict the future.

This moment right here is the only one that matters. Just you, on your mat, in your own energy.

We spend so much time rehashing things that have already happened that we cannot change, and looking into the future trying to control or predict what’s next when truly, right now, this moment, is the only thing you can be sure of.

We are so excited to welcome a new light to The Zen Den — please meet Jess, our newest substitute yoga teacher! Jess brings such a unique and beautiful blend of creativity, mindfulness, and heart to her classes. With a background in fine art and acting, and a deep passion for yin yoga and breathwork, Jess has transformed her own journey with yoga into something truly inspiring.

Here’s a little note from Jess herself… ⬇️
Hi, I’m Jess, a fine artist, actress, and recently certified yoga teacher with 300 hours in yin yoga training. I was introduced to yoga while taking a voice and movement class for stage and film, but it was intimidating for me at first. I’ve since learned that there is so much more to yoga than the poses I was struggling with. It has become a perspective shift for me, improving even the way I view my insecurities and struggles. I wanted to learn more, so I travelled to Bali, Indonesia to immerse myself in the study of yoga. I am now passionate about helping others learn how to slow down, come back to the present, and tap into their true bliss through mindfulness. It’s my honor to teach gentle flow, yin yoga, and breath-work meditation while I continue to expand in more areas of healthy living and stress management. I look forward to meeting you on the mat soon, my beautiful friends.

With a background in fine art and acting, and a deep passion for yin yoga and breathwork, Jess has transformed her own journey with yoga into something truly inspiring.

Here’s a little note from Jess herself… ⬇️
Hi, I’m Jess, a fine artist, actress, and recently certified yoga teacher with 300 hours in yin yoga training. I was introduced to yoga while taking a voice and movement class for stage and film, but it was intimidating for me at first. I’ve since learned that there is so much more to yoga than the poses I was struggling with. It has become a perspective shift for me, improving even the way I view my insecurities and struggles. I wanted to learn more, so I travelled to Bali, Indonesia to immerse myself in the study of yoga. I am now passionate about helping others learn how to slow down, come back to the present, and tap into their true bliss through mindfulness. It’s my honor to teach gentle flow, yin yoga, and breath-work meditation while I continue to expand in more areas of healthy living and stress management. I look forward to meeting you on the mat soon, my beautiful friends.

From the moment we gathered to the final crown placed in ceremony, the energy was undeniable. We laughed, cried, moved, shared, released, and reconnected with the version of ourselves we often put last. The space was sacred. The sisterhood was real. The beauty was everywhere.
