Jess brings such a unique and beautiful blend of creativity, mindfulness, and heart to her classes. With a background in fine art and acting, and a deep passion for yin yoga and breathwork, Jess has transformed her own journey with yoga into something truly inspiring.

Here’s a little note from Jess herself… ⬇️
Hi, I’m Jess, a fine artist, actress, and recently certified yoga teacher with 300 hours in yin yoga training. I was introduced to yoga while taking a voice and movement class for stage and film, but it was intimidating for me at first. I’ve since learned that there is so much more to yoga than the poses I was struggling with. It has become a perspective shift for me, improving even the way I view my insecurities and struggles. I wanted to learn more, so I travelled to Bali, Indonesia to immerse myself in the study of yoga. I am now passionate about helping others learn how to slow down, come back to the present, and tap into their true bliss through mindfulness. It’s my honor to teach gentle flow, yin yoga, and breath-work meditation while I continue to expand in more areas of healthy living and stress management. I look forward to meeting you on the mat soon, my beautiful friends.

A week after I began my yoga teacher training in August of 2022, I took a trip to San Diego with some friends (see pic!). When I returned, I woke up with intense pain in my lower back and glute—so severe that I had to sit through the next two weeks of training. I pushed through, and over time, yoga helped manage the pain… but after nearly three years of trying every holistic path available, it turns out I need a little extra support.

On June 6th, I’ll be undergoing lumbar decompression surgery. While this means I’ll be off the mat and unable to teach yoga for about eight weeks, I’ll still be holding space for our beautiful women’s circles. That said—no twisting, bending, or downward dogs for me for a little while!

But here’s where you come in:
Now is the perfect time to come experience the incredible talent, warmth, and presence of our Zen Den teachers. Each one brings their own magic, knowledge, and heart to every class, and I promise—you’ll feel it the moment you walk in.

I’m endlessly grateful to share The Zen Den of Gilbert with them and with all of you. It’s our shared space to heal, grow, breathe, and belong.

A week after I began my yoga teacher training in August of 2022, I took a trip to San Diego with some friends (see pic!). When I returned, I woke up with intense pain in my lower back and glute—so severe that I had to sit through the next two weeks of training. I pushed through, and over time, yoga helped manage the pain… but after nearly three years of trying every holistic path available, it turns out I need a little extra support.

On June 6th, I’ll be undergoing lumbar decompression surgery. While this means I’ll be off the mat and unable to teach yoga for about eight weeks, I’ll still be holding space for our beautiful women’s circles. That said—no twisting, bending, or downward dogs for me for a little while!

But here’s where you come in:
Now is the perfect time to come experience the incredible talent, warmth, and presence of our Zen Den teachers. Each one brings their own magic, knowledge, and heart to every class, and I promise—you’ll feel it the moment you walk in.

I’m endlessly grateful to share The Zen Den of Gilbert with them and with all of you. It’s our shared space to heal, grow, breathe, and belong.
